The best way to expand your iPhone’s storage is discounted right now on Amazon
by Guest Maren Estrada- 0 replies

Apple was apparently just as tired of hearing customers complain as we were of seeing "not enough storage" errors on our iPhones, because last year the company finally doubled the internal memory on all of its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models. As is always the case with smartphone storage, however, it’s never enough. Phones have a tendency to fill up with photos and videos no matter how much internal storage they have, and that’s why microSD slots are so important in mobile devices. Of course, Apple will never kill its massive iPhone profits by adding microSD support, so third-party solutions are the best we can hope for — and our favorite third-party solution, the SanDi…

Florida man kicks off 2020 presidential bid with fake news about Sweden terror attack
by Guest Chris Smith- 0 replies
A man in Florida held a confirmed campaign rally on Saturday, apparently kicking off his 2020 presidential bid a few years too early. While many say it was actually sitting president, Donald Trump, who actually held a campaign rally, it couldn’t have been him, could it? The most powerful man in the world would not spread false information about a terror attack in a different country that did not really happen, would he? After all, POTUS has access to incredible intelligence, and he’d know better than to make stuff up. Unfortunately, this is the real world. The American president said that something happened in Sweden on Friday night, which wasn’t actually true. Cont…

The FBI has three separate probes into Russia’s election hacks
by Guest Chris Smith- 0 replies
Any news related to Russia and Donald Trump is “fake,” according to the president’s scathing solo press conference last week. But just because Trump labels things he doesn’t agree with as “fake,” it doesn’t mean they are. In fact, the FBI has at least three separate probes into the alleged Russian election hacking, and the Bureau is also looking into the ties of Trump aides and former Russian intelligence officers before the November election. Horizon Zero Dawn review: Pushing open world gaming to a whole new level
by Guest Jacob Siegal- 0 replies
Aloy isn’t supposed to venture into the ruins of Devil’s Thirst. In fact, no members of the Nora tribe are meant to set foot in the ruins, but two braves wandered in anyway, so it’s up to Aloy, a young woman who had been an outcast from the tribe until just days ago, to bring them back unscathed. Against her better judgment, she makes her way into forbidden territory. Once there, she activates her Focus to scan the area for signs of the missing braves and follows the tracks she finds deep into the ruins, where two fearsome, aggressive Sawtooths have forced the braves into hiding on the second floor of a derelict building. Aloy does her best to stay hidden in the tal…

Voice calls over LTE might be coming to Project Fi soon
by Guest Jared Peters- 0 replies

Google’s been hard at work bringing Project Fi up to snuff with the other carriers, and they’re ready to check another feature off the list. They currently don’t offer the crisp VoLTE service that major carriers do, but according to Google, they’re testing it out with a few customers before getting ready to roll it […] Come comment on this article: Voice calls over LTE might be coming to Project Fi soon Visit TalkAndroid News via TalkAndroid

HTC will shift their focus to premium phones in 2017
by Guest Jared Peters- 0 replies

If you ask anyone that’s in the mobile industry what HTC’s biggest problem is, you’ll probably find a common theme: lack of focus. HTC makes some incredibly nice smartphones (that may or may not be overpriced) but they release twelve different versions of those phones on top of dozes more budget-friendly and mid-range devices every […] Come comment on this article: HTC will shift their focus to premium phones in 2017 Visit TalkAndroid News via TalkAndroid

Explosive blog post details ‘abhorrent’ sexism at Uber
by Guest Chris Mills- 0 replies

In a blog post published Sunday, former Uber engineer Susan Fowler Riggetti details her experiences working for the company. Sadly, given she's a female engineer working at a thrusting, big-name Silicon Valley startup, the experiences are exactly what you'd expect. Continue reading... Behind the scenes of the most thrilling nature video of all time
by Guest Mike Wehner- 0 replies

Even if you've never watched a full episode of the Planet Earth series, you've probably still seen one specific scene from an episode of Planet Earth II. Back in November of 2016, Planet Earth II hit the airwaves in the UK and brought with it a truly epic action sequence that seemed too crazy to believe. A life and death battle between a juvenile iguana and an army of snakes captivated the internet and became a viral sensation almost instantly. Now, thanks to Vox, we know the inside story of how it was filmed. Continue reading... by Guest Jacob Siegal- 0 replies

Can't find that one Johto-region Pokemon you've been looking for in Pokemon Go running around in the wild? Maybe you can hatch it instead. As soon as the update rolled, Pokemon Go Hub began asking its visitors to submit their findings for Generation 2 egg hatches. It could be weeks until the list is finalized, but over the weekend, the site put together a graphic with its preliminary list of hatchable Gen 2 Pokemon. Continue reading... Razer Blade Stealth review: The MacBook Pro that Apple should have made
by Guest Chris Mills- 0 replies
Up until last fall, the formula for Apple's MacBook Pro was well known and well loved: a 13-inch, aluminum unibody laptop with oodles of power, a great screen and enough ports for 98% of everyone who would call themselves a "pro." With the most recent update, Apple decided to go with a far more courageous design. The unibody stayed, as did the size, but a lot of other things changed. All the ports vanished, replaced with four USB-C ports and a fistful of dongles. A discrete graphics card didn't appear, and instead Apple chose to spend the cash on a fancy OLED touchscreen with a fingerprint sensor. Pros were not amused. Continue reading... This futuristic ATM means you’ll never have to go into a bank again
by Guest Chris Mills- 0 replies
Fifty years ago, the ATM was one of the first robots to start down the long path of stealing jobs. Even the name -- Automated Teller Machine -- shows that it was explicitly designed to put bank tellers out of a job. ATMs have become far more sophisticated since their introduction, but their main function of dispensing cash hasn't really changed. So, for ATMs themselves to remain relevant as banks increasingly go online, there needs to be change. Continue reading... How to install the genius media app that Apple banned from the App Store
by Guest Chris Smith- 0 replies
What is Kodi and why should one want to install on the iPhone or any other iOS device? It’s a versatile media player that’s already quite popular with the crowds. You may have used it on other devices back when it was called XBMC. Unfortunately, it’s not the kind of application that Apple allows in the App Store, so you can’t really enjoy it on iOS devices unless you’re willing to jailbreak the phone, or pull off other tricks that would let you sideload the app. If you’re looking to install Kodi on the iPhone 7 or any other kind of iOS device without jailbreaking, then you’re in luck. It looks like such a method is already available. Continue reading... Trending …

Finally, the accessory every Apple Watch owner has been waiting for is here
by Guest Maren Estrada- 0 replies
The Apple Watch is a class leader in so many ways, from software and hardware design to style and, of course, sales. One annoying this about the watch is the charger, however. The actual charging mechanism is fantastic, featuring a brilliant implementation of wireless charging that makes refueling the Apple Watch a cinch. The annoying part, however, is that the device uses a proprietary charger that's unlike anything used by other Apple devices. That means yet another charger that you have to unplug and take with you when you travel (and it just so happens to sport the longest cable on Earth, to boot, which makes it even more annoying to travel with). Well guess what: …

Colbert roasts President Trump for his bizarre ‘stress conference’
by Guest Jacob Siegal- 0 replies

While every day with the Trump administration is an adventure, Thursday was especially eventful as President Donald Trump hosted a 77-minute long press conference in which he lied repeatedly, attacked the media for delivering fake news and slammed Hillary Clinton, who is no longer running for office. It was quite a sight to behold. Man’s plan to bomb Target stores to buy cheap stock totally backfires
by Guest Mike Wehner- 0 replies

Get rich schemes come in all shapes in sizes, but leave it to the always creative "Florida Man" to come up with perhaps the worst money-making scheme in the history of mankind. Mark Charles Barnett is currently in custody and facing up to ten years in prison after planning to blow up several Target retail stores along the East Coast in an attempt to get the company's stock to dip, allowing him an opportunity to grab shares at a reduced cost. Needless to say, things didn't exactly work out as Barnett planned. Continue reading... Hey Google, this is how you should fix Allo
by Guest Peter Holden- 0 replies

It’s safe to say that Google’s latest instant messaging app, Allo, isn’t setting the world alight in the popularity stakes. It’s faced with strong, entrenched competition in the form of WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Apple’s iMessage, and even finds itself competing with other Google products such as Hangouts. It’s also not exactly clear why Google launched […] Come comment on this article: Hey Google, this is how you should fix Allo Visit TalkAndroid News via TalkAndroid
