http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/2d5dbd67cb003890fd2b055cce9e8ebe.jpgOn one hand, the brand new HTC One A9s seems like the last sad move of a struggling smartphone vendor that's running out of options. If its own stunning designs and powerful specs aren't enough to compete with giants like Apple and Samsung, HTC might as well just use their designs. But on the other hand, it's really not a bad idea at all. The last time HTC ripped off the iPhone, it actually sold pretty well. HTC actually defended its design last year though, and pretended that it wasn't a blatant iPhone copy. This year, there's simply no way HTC can possibly defend its new HTC One A9s. (mor…

http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/e41c022afae5daa5610df4989f613c73.jpgSamsung earlier this week halted Galaxy Note 7 shipments in South Korea, in spite of the phone’s massive preorder sales success. Samsung would not confirm its reasoning, but reports said that the recent battery explosions convinced the tech giant to suspend shipping to local telecom temporarily. In the meantime, brand new reports indicate that Samsung is considering a Galaxy Note 7 recall, at least in South Korea, and that battery worries are indeed real. However, this shouldn’t affect the planned launches for China and Europe, markets that will receive the handset as expected. (more…) T…

http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/642a82aa1a6692c6eaa31bbbb209816b.jpgOne of the big perks of Tesla ownership is access to the Supercharger network, a worldwide network of super-fast electric charging stations for Tesla owners. Use of the chargers is free for most Model S and Model X owners, but it won't be for Model 3 owners. We knew that already, but details of how Tesla will charge for use of Superchargers may have just leaked. Electrek found code on Tesla's website that talks about "Supercharger Credits," an option to use a credit card to buy Supercharger access by the kWh. If this plan works out, owning a Model 3 will be a little less simple and magical tha…
