HTC Marlin is the latest phone to appear on camera
by Guest Jared Peters- 0 replies
HTC Marlin is going to be one the most hyped up devices of 2016, and for good reason. HTC is getting a crack at making a Nexus device again, and the specs we’ve heard for the device are nothing to sneeze at. We’re still waiting for some kind of official news about the phone, but […] Come comment on this article: HTC Marlin is the latest phone to appear on camera Visit TalkAndroid http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/2b86d7b3209d3773b1920eb8eb0ae8b3._.gif News via TalkAndroid

Samsung isn’t expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 until August 2, but a store in Dubai is already taking pre-orders for the handset. Going by just the photo, we’re not quite sure what store this specifically is within the country; however, interested consumers will be able to put down AED 500 ($130 USD) to […] Come comment on this article: Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 up for pre-order already in Dubai Visit TalkAndroid http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/19b26f501869cc2ae5e24b7d262ea553._.gif News via TalkAndroid

http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/3f60a03b2bbca7f5cf256e18db0b8b98.jpgAs part of its ongoing "HillaryLeaks" series, WikiLeaks just published a whole trove of Democratic National Committee emails. Unfortunately, those emails contain the names, addresses, social security numbers and passport details of some innocent Democratic donors. 19,252 emails and 8,034 attachments were added to a searchable online archive today. The extent of the damage won't be known until the data has been analyzed, but as Gizmodo notes, just searching things like "passport" or "social security" is throwing up people's passport numbers and SSNs. http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/9374d7192fa10f6b12186dc018526992.gifThere's still a couple of weeks to go until Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy Note 7, but I don't know what the company is really waiting for. We've heard all kinds of rumors and even seen video of the phone in action. A new series of photos from the Chinese Weibo site clearly show a device that looks a lot like the upcoming Galaxy Note 7. The pictures confirm everything we've suspected before: it will ship in at least three colors, have an all-glass design, keep the S Pen, and even add an iris scanner. But there's something special about these photos that Samsung fans will notice right aw…

http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/e5a10a1a10569e6e2f8c6e3048af23bc.jpgGoogle is going to launch two new Nexus smartphones this year, codenamed Marlin and Sailfish. The company has yet to make them official, but a variety of reports from solid sources have revealed just about everything there is to know about them. The phones are supposed to share the same set of high-end hardware, which could make the 2016 Nexus handsets real flagship killers, and they’re expected to share the same design as well. They're all still wonderfully entertaining thanks to huge budgets and compelling characters, but I'd wager that there aren't many people out there who would argue that Avengers, Iron Man and Captain America movies have been getting better as they progress. That noticeable decline is one of the reasons I'm so excited for The Defenders, an upcoming new Netflix exclusive show that will combine the stories of four characters from the Marvel universe similar to what we've seen in The Aven…

How to watch Donald Trump’s speech at the RNC
by Guest Chris Mills- 0 replies

Tonight, it's the speech we've all been waiting for. The hairpiece mannequin who also happens to be the Republican candidate for president is formally accepting the nomination tonight, which promises to make for fantastic television. Luckily for us, it's easy to watch along. The convention is being livestreamed on Twitter, and there's also an official RNC YouTube channel that you can pull up on your mobile device, laptop computer, smart TV, dumb TV, Roku box, Chromecast, or basically anything that receives The Internet. In other words, the Donald will be impossible to escape. (more…) Trending right now: Pokemon Go: Google Maps hack makes it easier than ever to f…

http://androidforum.us/data/MetaMirrorCache/da4f601ff9f8d2f23556a39de14d76a3.jpgHaving struggled to keep up with the PlayStation 4 for nearly three years, Microsoft knew it was going to have to bring the big guns to E3 2016. Rather than just announcing new games and peripherals, the company actually announced not one, but two (2!) new versions of the Xbox One console last month. On paper, this sounds like a surefire way to reinvigorate a fan base. In reality, it might have unintentionally stalled Xbox One sales. Those are reviews where the reviewer has received an item for free, which according to the results of the study, introduce bias into the system. A lot of bias.
