by Guest Chris Smith- 0 replies

The safe Galaxy Note 7, which will retail as the Galaxy Note FE or Galaxy Note 7R, will not be launched this month in Korea and other markets, as some reports noted in the past. Instead, the release date has been pushed back to July, a new report says, almost one year after the phone’s original launch. Continue reading... Everything Sony announced at E3 2017
by Guest Jacob Siegal- 0 replies
Save for Nintendo's short Spotlight presentation on Tuesday morning, Sony held the final conference of E3 2017. Oddly, it probably could have been a digital event itself, as SIEA head Shawn Layden kicked off the event, walked off stage and Sony proceeded to show off a string of trailers for an hour. He then returned to thank everyone for watching before introducing the final trailer for Spider-Man. To make matters stranger, a majority of the games shown off at the event won't be available until 2018. Sony had a killer start to 2017, but Microsoft and Nintendo have a chance to take the second half. Continue reading... Trending right now: NBA Finals 2017 live s…

Yesterday a new rumor broke that Google was scrapping their original plan for the Pixel XL 2, internally called muskie, in favor of a third, different model, called taimen. It’s a pretty wild rumor that throws a wrench into some of the other rumors about the Pixel 2 that we’ve seen, but does open up […] Come comment on this article: LG might be the manufacturer for the next Google Pixel XL Visit TalkAndroid News via TalkAndroid

by Guest Jacob Siegal- 0 replies

Yes, you read that headline correctly. There's going to be a Game 5 of the 2017 NBA Finals. With their backs to the wall and all the momentum against them, the Cleveland Cavaliers came out last Friday and absolutely dominated the Golden State Warriors. Not only did the Cavaliers extend the series at least one more game -- they gave the Warriors defense a historic whooping in the process. Continue reading... New Model 3 pictures give us a clear look at the car’s interior design
by Guest Yoni Heisler- 0 replies
One of the most intriguing aspects of Tesla's upcoming Model 3 centers on what the final interior design is going to look like, and in particular, the car's dashboard. Whereas most car manufacturers are increasingly concerned with making the dashboard look sleek and futuristic, Tesla with the Model 3 went the completely opposite route. As we initially saw when Tesla unveiled the Model 3 last year, Tesla's upcoming EV lacks a traditional instrument cluster with gauges for items like speed and range. Though there was initial speculation regarding Tesla incorporating a HUD of some sort, Elon Musk earlier this year dashed those hopes, explaining on Twitter that the need fo…

Astronauts are going to bake bread in space, and it’s a pretty big deal
by Guest Mike Wehner- 0 replies
When you think of the perks of becoming an astronaut, there's plenty to list: you get to see the Earth from a perspective that only few have shared, you're privy to new science discoveries before the public hears about them, and you get to be one of the few people who grew up to become something they wanted to be as a kid. That's all great, but when it comes to an astronaut's diet — freeze-dried foods and carefully sealed packs of liquid — it's not something most people would look forward to. That could begin to change soon, as plans have been set in motion for the very first bread to be baked in space. Continue reading... Trending right now: Behold the Google P…

Unprecedented lightning deal drops Amazon Echo refurb all the way down to $110
by Guest Maren Estrada- 0 replies
It’s difficult to say this with any kind of certainty, but we think it may be fair to suggest that you’ll never be able to buy an Amazon Echo directly from Amazon for less that you can right now. In the first Amazon lightning deal of its kind, the wildly popular Echo speaker is available for just $109.99 from now until 9:00 PM EDT, or while supplies last. A brand new Echo speaker retails for $180, and a special limited time sale going on right now has dropped the price to $140, which is a killer bargain. Then you’ve got the certified refurbished Amazon Echo, which typically sells for $135. At $110 for a refurbished Echo that’s certified and warrantied, this is a deal that…

No Galaxy S8 batteries have exploded since the phone’s release
by Guest Chris Smith- 0 replies
It’s pretty common to hear about smartphone batteries exploding, considering the large number of devices out there. But it’s pretty rare to see the number of explosions and fires become a statistical anomaly for a single device, as it was the case for the Galaxy Note 7 last year. Samsung was forced to pull the phone and come up with new security measures and quality assurance practices in order to make sure that no other smartphone suffers the same fate. And it looks like Samsung learned its lesson well, as no Galaxy S8 handsets have exploded since the phone was released. Continue reading... Why open jars and cans yourself when these robots will do it for you?
by Guest Maren Estrada- 0 replies
It is entirely possible that one day robots will become sentient and take over the world. Until that day arrives, however, I am thoroughly enjoying the fact that I have a pen of robots that do my bidding. I have a robot that vacuums my floors, a robot that mops for me, and even a gravity-defying robot that cleans my windows and shower stall for me. Of course, robots are good for far more than just cleaning your house, and we’re about to show you two wonderfully cheap robots that can lend a hand in the kitchen. Uber CEO Travis Kalanick may be forced to temporarily step down
by Guest Yoni Heisler- 0 replies
At this point, it's effectively impossible to keep up with all of scandals that Uber has found itself involved in over the past few years. From trying to sabotage Lyft to purposefully breaking Apple's iOS privacy rules, Uber has a well-earned track record of openly disregarding rules for monetary and marketshare gains. And that's to say nothing of the personnel issues impacting Uber, including various sexual harassment accusations and a widely circulated video featuring CEO Travis Kalanick aggressively arguing with an Uber driver. In the wake of the aforementioned video, Kalanick went so far as to issue a rare public apology, stating in part: "It’s clear this video is …
