Apple's iPhone 7 Plus features a screen that measures 5.5 inches diagonally. After a report said a few days ago that the iPhone 8 will feature a flat screen rather than the curved display almost all other rumors have predicted, a new story may shed some light on the screen’s curvature. Apparently, the iPhone 8’s screen will indeed be curved, but not as curved as the Galaxy S7 edge. It won’t be flat like the screen on the iPhone 6/6s/7, and instead may be slightly curved to follow the 2.5D edges of the glass face. Apple is weirdly protective over the repair system that goes on at the Apple Store. You'd think that there aren't many secrets to do with replacing glass screens and fixing iPhones that have gone for a swim in the toilet, but in Apple's secret walled garden, everything is a trade secret.
