A report earlier this week said Apple is expected to take the wraps off its 2017 iPads in the coming weeks, a tablet family that’s supposed to bring over a brand new iPad Pro flavor. Google recently confirmed that it’ll launch a Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 phones this year, though the company stopped short of clarifying the exact names of the next-generation phones. Without revealing any launch details, Google did hint the Pixel 2 will hit stores about a year after its predecessor toward the end of 2017. Intel on Monday morning confirmed earlier reports that it will acquire Jerusalem-based self-driving technology company Mobileye for $63.54 a share, or $15.3 billion in total. The deal follows successful work the two companies have done on BMW's iNext self-driving platform, which is expected to appear in production vehicles as soon as 2021, just four years from now.
