Earlier this week, a patent detailing augmented reality technologies for the iPhone also described AR glasses that would be able to display AR content. The accessory would even allow users to interact with the digital layer of information shown on the glasses by hand gestures that would be perceived by the camera. I wrote at the time that AR glasses made by Apple might be the kind of device that would “kill” the iPhone. Apple and Nokia have agreed to settle all their patent disputes, with the latter being the clear winner right now. Apple agreed to pay Nokia a one-time up-front cash payment and entered into a multi-year patent license with the company earlier this year. Twice in a matter of days, Apple competitors made references to the incoming iPhone 8. We already know what Blizzard’s next Hearthstone expansion is called. Knights of the Frozen Throne was unveiled a few weeks ago, a 135-card expansion that will be released at some point next month. However, Blizzard did not unveil all the new cards at once choosing to showcase only a few of them during its announcement event.
