Apple device leaker Sonny Dickson has been quiet lately since, well, there haven't been any upcoming Apple products to leak. That's changing fast as Apple finalizes its designs for what half a dozen solid independent reports claim will be not one but two brand new iPhone models that will launch this year. The first is said to be an iPhone 6 with a larger display measuring about 4.7 inches diagonally, and the second will reportedly be an iPhone phablet with a 5.5-inch screen. Because Samsung might have finally run out of meaningless titles for additional models to the Galaxy S4 line, the company has taken a short reprieve to trademark four new smartphones with equally incoherent names. Based on the filings, the Galaxy Core Prima, Galaxy Core Ultra, Galaxy Core Max and Galaxy Ace Style should all be making an appearance over the next few months, expanding on the Core and Ace budget device lineups. At this rate we expect that Motorola will start paying people to take the Moto G. 9to5Toys notices that carrier U.S. Cellular is now selling the Moto G for $80 off contract. The Moto G, which features a 4.5-inch display with a 720p resolution, a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 8GB of storage and a 5-megapixel camera, just seems to get cheaper and cheaper. We were surprised earlier this year when its price got cut to $99 off contract and Motorola and its carrier partners keep coming up with ways to make it cheaper still. Before the mobile smash hit Flappy Bird dominated the news cycle, Finnish company Rovio ruled the roost with its own group of suicidal avians. Now that Flappy Bird has flown the coop, Rovio is cautiously stepping back into the daylight with a new game in the Angry Birds franchise. The new Angry Birds will feature a fresh flock of birds to toss at the marauding green pigs, as Rovio revealed in a tweet, but we will have to wait until Thursday to learn the title of the game and to see whether or not Rovio has partnered with another major property this time around. It really does bear repeating: Many businesses see the iPad as much more than "just a toy." AppleInsider draws our attention to the latest report from mobile enterprise software vendor Good Technology showing that the iPad accounted for 91.4% of all enterprise tablet activations in the fourth quarter of 2013 while Android tablets accounted for just 8.6% of all tablet activations. Owners of the Moto X on Sprint should be on the lookout for the Android 4.4.2 soak test. Some are reporting that the Motorola Feedback Network has contacted them regarding the update and saying there is a “preview software release” incoming. Both T-Mobile and US Cellular owners have already been updated to the latest version of Android, meaning it is only a matter of time before everyone else issues the update. Android games are great, but required in-app purchases can put a damper on the fun. Honest Android Games, a new website, attempts to combat that. Every game that is featured on the site is either completely free without any advertising, has a one-time cost when first installing, or a one-time in-app purchase cost to unlock all features, ad-free. Tomorrow, Verizon will be launching what it is deeming a “game changer.” According to various reports, the carrier will unveil its More Everything plans. These plans will allow for customers part of the Edge program to obtain higher data caps at a reduced price. Having 8GB or less will save you $10 and 10GB or more will retain $20. Apparently Verizon’s Share Everything plans will be morphed into More Everything. Also, Big Red is throwing in 25GB of free cloud storage… because, you know, we need another cloud storage service. There can never be enough of the Angry Birds franchise. Never. And that is why Rovio has tweeted the teaser image above. In the tweet, Rovio says “Big adventure with new birds coming soon! #NewAngryBirds.” This would be Rovio’s latest entrant since Angry Birds Go launched in December. People may love Amazon Prime, but Amazon shouldn't take that love for granted anytime soon. The Wall Street Journal points us to a new survey conducted by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners showing that while most Amazon Prime customers plan on renewing their subscriptions right now, that number would drop significantly if it meant paying between $99 and $119 versus the $79 annual membership they pay today. As if having a 0.6% market share wasn't bad enough, BlackBerry is going to have to face yet another challenge in 2014. The Wall Street Journal reports that Samsung has just received an order for 7,000 smartphones from the United States Army, and has nearly completed another order that will send thousands more sent to the NSA. It might not be as sleek and sexy as the upcoming HTC One sequel that we keep seeing in leaked photos, but another unreleased HTC smartphone was revealed on Wednesday in a freshly leaked image. Engadget has managed to get its hands on what the site claims to be an image of the HTC Desire 8, an upcoming mid-range Android phone from HTC that may debut in the coming weeks. The phone will reportedly include a 5.5-inch display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, an impressive 5-megapixel front-facing camera and stereo BoomSound speakers. Sprint’s and T-Mobile’s Galaxy S5 versions may have been already spotted in user agent profiles, Sam Mobile reveals, with both handset versions tipped to be Samsung’s dumber Galaxy S5 models. An analyst has recently said in a note to investors that the Galaxy S5 will come in “Prime” and a “Standard” versions that won’t be differentiated just by different processors. There have been several dubious leaked pictures of HTC's next flagship smartphone but one new picture seems to look more like the real deal than most. @HTCFamily.ru has posted a picture purportedly showing HTC's followup to the HTC One that has a lot of the features that we expect to see on the new device based on previous leaks, including buttons placed directly on the display and light sensors that have been shifted over to the right-hand side of the phone next to the front-facing camera. The Samsung SM-G900T, supposedly one of the many variants of the upcoming Galaxy S 5, is real. More specifically, the SM-G900T, the T-Mobile version of the S5, had its User Agent profile discovered on Samsung Mobile’s website earlier today. The UA profile is incredibly similar to the SM-G900A, which is believed to be AT&T’s S5. The Sprint S5, the SM-G900P, was also found on Samsung Mobile’s website today. Twitter user @evleaks has leaked out the press images for Verizon’s 2014 Galaxy Note 10.1— the tablet, which saw the release of its WiFi version back in October, will feature 3GB of RAM and will come in 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB versions, all of which can support an additional 64 GB of memory via microSD. The screen will be a 2560×1600 Super clear LCD display. If you’ve been receiving an error 403 while downloading or updating apps, you’re not alone. Some users have reported that they are receiving an error 403 whenever they try to download an app from the Play Store. What does Error 403 exactly mean? Yesterday we saw a photo leak of the supposed new generation HTC One. It looked like an elongated HTC One with onscreen buttons. The only issue with the leaked photo is that it shows a design not fit for the One successor. Not only were there thicker bezels, but there was a waste of space in a black bar that housed nothing more than an HTC logo. Folks across the internet complained, and someone listened.
