Hi, I'm a software engineer that has worked in a number of different areas, mostly device drivers on PCs. After something of an absence from the programming world I'd like to break into Android development. I thought this forum would be helpful in that regard.

I am a blooger, freelance writer and author based in Nepal. I have been working from home for more than 10 years. I do a lot of things to make money online and I frequently visit forums to learn and share. Good to be in this community.

If you want to post a video you simply copy the URL to the video from the site the video is on and paste it into the thread or post. Our media parser will automatically extract the video and play it inline. The parser supports over 250 media sites. If you find a site that has videos and it's not on our list let me know and I'll add it.

I'm Bob owner of this community as well as a few others. I've been in the community building business for 15 years. I said I wouldn't start any more sites after selling off or closing a number of my sites. I upgraded my old Sprint Nextel i860 to an HTC EVO 4G. As I do with anything I wanted to know everything about it including the inner workings of the Android OS. I created this site for people to discuss Android phones and maybe we can even create a few apps or custom ROMS as we learn. Having said that welcome to Android Forums and hope to make a lot of new friends.
