Sony wasn’t the only one to introduce a new phone today as ZTE also had a few tricks up their sleeve. They just unveiled the nubia Z7, the nubia Z7 max, and the nubia Z7 mini.
The nubia Z7 (pictured above) is clearly the flagship here with its 5.5-inch Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440) display, quad-core Snapdragon 801, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, microSD slot for expanded storage, 13 MP rear camera with OIS, 5 MP front-facing camera, dual-SIM capability, and 3,000 mAh battery. It will sell for €410 ($550)
Next up, we have the nubia Z7 max (pictured above), which also has a 5.5-inch display, but the resolution will come in at a paltry 1080p (1920 x 1080). It will also get a minor drop in RAM, from 3 GB down to 2 GB. The rest of the specs appear the same. It will be priced at €240 ($320).
Lastly, we have the nubia Z7 mini. You guessed it….the display is smaller. It will be a 5-incher with a resolution of 1080p (1920 x 1080). The rest of the specs line up with the Z7 max, other than a slight drop with internal storage, 32 GB down to 16 GB. However, don’t forget that it has a microSD slot. It’s refreshing to see a manufacturer offering top of the line specs on a mini version. Although I am not sure 5-inches should be considered a mini. Pricing will be €180 ($240).
