There are people out there, myself included, that use mobile devices as the go-to for capturing images and recording video. At times, it can tough to holding the device does not allow for the optimal viewing position. And other times it is uncomfortable. That is where Kenu and its Stance tripod come in. Stance is a compact tripod that attaches to mobile devices through the micro-USB port. Once attached, users can maneuver into various positions and angles because of Stance’s versatility.
The activities possible with the Kenu Stance include taking group photographs with everyone included, recording video without any shakiness, and keeping the device steady while watching a video.
The Kenu Stance can’t only be a tripod, right? Nope, it doubles as a bottle opener. Through the online company store, you can purchase the Stance for $29.95 and retailers worldwide will carry the item early next year.

KENU® LAUNCHES STANCE™ FOR ANDROID AND WINDOWS PHONES
SAN FRANCISCO – (Dec 4, 2014) – Kenu®, maker of Airframe®, Airframe+ and Stance™, products for smartphones and phablets, announces the launch of their newest product, Stance™ for Android and Windows smartphones. Stance is the first tripod specifically designed for Android and Windows phones, mounting directly into the Micro-USB port using Kenu’s patent pending MicroMount™. Watching your favorite videos, making video calls, and positioning your smartphone’s camera to capture amazing photos and videos has never been easier.
Stance is small and compact, making it easy to take anywhere. It weighs only 1.2ozs (34g) and is smaller than a pack of gum. Non-slip feet and premium zinc-alloy construction create a stable base. A ball-and-socket joint lets the phone tilt and rotate freely, allowing you to position your phone at the perfect angle.
Stance is also amazingly versatile. With the legs folded flat, Stance positions your phone for watching videos or taking pictures in landscape mode. And if you’re ready to unplug, Stance even has a bottle opener built into one of the legs.
“We have gotten a great reaction to Stance for iPhone and wanted to develop a product for people with other smartphones,” said Kenu founder and CEO Ken Minn. “Now almost all smartphone users will be able to stabilize and position their phones with Stance.”
Stance for Android and Windows phones works with smartphones with a centered micro-USB charging port. Stance is available for $29.95 on Kenu.com and will be available in premium retailers worldwide in early 2015.
