Sony announced its Concept for Android beta initiative earlier this month, which would allow Xperia Z3 Z3 Compact owners to test an early build of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on their devices. For those that were accepted on to the program, an update with build number MRA58K.Z1.2085 is busy rolling out via OTA with some additional features in tow.
The OTA brings back the ever popular Tap-to-Wake feature, along with MIDI support via USB, more bitrates are supported for FLAC files, and an updated keyboard. The update will roll out slowly over the next few days. So if you’ve already been in to settings to tap the Software update button with no results, don’t worry. You can check if your Sony device will be receiving the Marshmallow update here.
