Not to be outdone by HTC, Huawei has launched the G7 Plus with a high resolution 5.5-inch screen and a design that’s strikingly similar to a certain fruity competitor’s flagship phone. While the G7 Plus doesn’t completely look like an iPhone, it definitely does take some serious design inspiration from Apple. Not that it’s a bad thing, but it’s hard not to see it.
The hardware is solid, however, with Huawei packing in a 1080p display and a 13 megapixel camera. There’s an octa-core processor on board with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot. Huawei also managed to fit a fingerprint scanner into the back of the device, too.
The G7 Plus is priced aggressively at around $330, making for a very competitive package. It’ll ship with Android 5.1.
