Cyanogen OS is the commercial version of the software that ships on some phones from partners like OnePlus. It’s a forked version of Android that relies heavily on Cyanogen’s version of some applications, while still keeping the features from Cyanogenmod.
Unfortunately, up until now, Cyanogenmod hasn’t had access to Cyanogen OS’s core apps like its email client, theme store, and dialer, among other things. But today Cyanogen has released a package of Cyanogen OS apps that CM users can install on their phones to have those few extra features they’ve been missing.
