During an interview in New Delhi, Google CEO Sundar Pichai disclosed some important information about the upcoming Android release.
Traditionally, Google chooses the name of a dessert going in alphabetical order for naming its Android versions. Marshmallow is currently the latest version meaning next year’s Android version will begin with the letter “N.” Pichai says that it may do something different next year in the process of naming the upcoming Android N version. Google may create an online poll leaving it up to the public to decide the name. Pichai made the following statement regarding his home country:
“If all Indians vote, I think we can make (an Indian name) it happen.”
Some possible names include Nutella, nougat and nut bread. If you could vote, what would you suggest as the title for the next Android release?
