Earlier today, ESPN released a much-needed update for its Android client. The upgrade brings some essential performance enhancements to the application, together with a brand new user interface, which complies with Google’s simplistic Material Design guidelines.
The full release notes can be seen below:
- Optimized for Marshmallow. We overhauled the look and feel of the entire app, with smoother scrolling, faster load times, and fewer crashes.
- Consume more news than ever before. When you get to the bottom of an article, grab the next headline and drag it up to read more.
- Improved logic to sort top events on your home screen.
- Bug fixes.
The update is slowly rolling out to everyone via the Play Store, but if you haven’t had an opportunity to grab it yet, you can do so by clicking the link below.
