Earlier this year, Sprint reported that 2-year contracts would be going away at the conclusion of 2015. However, according to a new report, this may not be the case for the U.S. carrier.
2-year contracts are clearly coming to an end, but then again, maybe not for Sprint subscribers. Sprint wants to ensure that its users have options when it comes to paying for their phone and data. When signing up with Sprint, users have the choice to pay for their device upfront for retail price, pay with installment payments, sign a 2-year agreement, or if you have an iPhone, sign up for the new iPhone forever offering.
We should be hearing from Sprint in the coming days to know exactly what the carrier’s plans are moving forward. So let’s just keep patient.
