When you are a smartphone manufacturer producing devices at the low-end, budget zone and want to create some buzz, you have to get creative. That is what Bluboo is doing with their latest smartphone they plan to release, the Bluboo Xfire 2. The main claim to fame for what will otherwise be a run of the mill device is going to be support for up to three SIM cards, which Bluboo says will be the world’s first such device.
The Bluboo Xfire 2 will be a 5.0-inch display device running at a mere 1280 x 720 resolution, though it will have 2.5D curved glass. Internally, the Bluboo Xfire 2 will run an MT6580 processor with support for 2G and 3G networks. The low-end hardware garners a low-end price which will be just $69.99.
Users who are willing to put up with the sub-par hardware will get a device that does support Triple-SIM. The SIM card trays can also double as microSD card slots for memory expansion, though it is unclear how much additional memory may be supported.
Another little extra Bluboo is putting in the device is an LED flash on the front for the selfie-taking fans who may buy the smartphone.
The Bluboo Xfire 2 is expected to launch in January 2016, but market availability has not yet been announced.
