On January 18, ZTE is scheduled to hold an event of its own where it will announce the Nubia Z11. Interestingly, we just discovered a leak containing images of a new device, most likely the Nubia X8.
This is the first time we’re hearing about such as device. The Nubia X8 allegedly surfaced at CES 2016, which was obviously unintentional. Multiple images of the device have leaked showing off a metal body containing what looks to be a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device appears to be very large in size and will reportedly sport a 2k display. Other specs include a Snapdragon 820 SoC and a monstrous 4500mAh battery.
As it turns out, we may see two Nubia smartphones announced at the event. We should find out more details about the unknown device in the week ahead leading up to its official unveiling. However, nothing is certain at this point.
