When Lenovo revealed their new Lenovo K4 Note smartphone last week at a press event in New Delhi, all indications were that the device would be an exclusive to the Indian market. However, retailer Jarir Bookstore in Saudi Arabia is currently advertising the device on their web site along with availability information to pick up the device at their retail locations.
The device is listed on the web site for SAR 899 ($240 USD), which is 33 percent more than the listed price of approximately $180 with Amazon India, the exclusive retailer for the device in the Indian market.
When announced, Lenovo indicated the K4 Note will come with 16GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM. However, buried in some detailed specs is a version of the device that comes with 32GB of internal storage and only 2GB of RAM. That appears to be the version for sale in Saudi Arabia. Thus far, all images of the K4 Note have been of a black device, although Lenovo indicates they plan to release some leather and wood covers. The device listed on the Jarir Bookstore site is white.
