As previously reported, Sony has been testing Android 6.0 on some of its Xperia devices in select markets. The process has been going on for quite some time now, and today Sony received some long-awaited and much-needed feedback.
Based on the report, it’s pretty clear that the majority of beta testers don’t want the trial to end. A recently conducted survey provided Sony with some feedback on the new Android 6.0 software. Over 80% elected to stay on the beta program and want to be on it for as long as they possibly can. Only a small percentage of users reported that they’d like to ditch the beta software in the future.
According to this survey, one could assume that the software runs smoothly with little stutter and is near being finished. Afterall, Sony’s Xperia UI closely resembles stock Android, only including a few minor additions to improve the experience. If you own one of Sony’s latest devices, it shouldn’t be long before the latest Android 6.0 software hits your phone. Let’s hope that Sony keeps most of which it included in its test build in the final product.
