Need help using Chromecast Audio to cast your favorite tunes from your phone, laptop or tablet to your speakers? A new video from Google has you covered.

Don’t worry if you’re strapped for time. The video clocks in at a minute and five seconds. In other words, you can learn to cast in less time than it takes most of us to use the bathroom in the morning. Heck, you could learn to cast while you’re using the bathroom in the morning, if you’re so inclined.

The process is simple. Grab your device, connect to your wifi and open a Cast-enabled audio app. From there, you pick a song, station or playlist and hit the “Cast” button. And you’re done. Anyone on the same network as you can cast without additional pairing, too.

Better still, your device becomes the remote control, allowing you to skip tracks, browse playlists or adjust the volume from anywhere in your home. If you have more than one Chromecast Audio, you can even group them together to play the same tunes throughout your house.

Once the tunes are blasting and the party’s rocking, you can still use your phone as, well, a phone. Answer calls, send texts and emails, tweet to your heart’s content. None of it disrupts the music.

And if you don’t have a Chromecast, well, you should probably fix that. We’re big fans of it here at Talk Android. Odds are you will be, too.
