YouTube Gaming has expanded its video-sharing service and is now available to try in Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Ireland.
Announced today via the official YouTube Gaming Twitter page, it has been confirmed that the popular streaming tool is slowly taking over the world.
Whilst the service is already up for grabs in the U.S., it’s good to see YouTube Gaming expanding, particularly as this opens up the tool and its features for more top YouTube entertainers to try out.
YouTube has described YouTube Gaming as ‘the biggest community of gamers on the web—all in one place’, and the platform’s arrival last year was arguably one of the biggest, most influential moves in YouTube’s history.
The YouTube Gaming app for Android keeps fans connected to their favorite games and their favorite YouTubers, boasting videos from more than 25,000 titles.
The latest update to the YouTube Gaming app offers a revised homepage, along with a handy popout player that stays visible above other apps. Livestream playback improvements in the form of quality switching tools are also thrown in.
