At the Game Developers Conference today, NVIDIA announced they are adding two top game publishers to their library of streaming game titles for the the NVIDIA SHIELD with GeForce NOW Android TV device. NVIDIA says this will bring the total number of titles available to 100. The latest additions will be coming from SEGA and Warner Bros. who will combine to bring nine new titles to the platform.
Headlining the titles coming from SEGA are four games from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and a couple other titles from their library. John Clark with SEGA Europe says, “SEGA is delighted to bring Sonic the Hedgehog to a new generation of players who can enjoy the series on GeForce NOW as easily as they’d watch a Netflix movie.” Meanwhile, from Warner Bros. the NVIDIA library will be getting three titles, including one from the popular LEGO franchise. The full list of new titles includes:
- Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (SEGA)
- Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I (SEGA)
- Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II (SEGA)
- Sonic CD (SEGA)
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (SEGA)
- Alpha Protocol (SEGA)
- LEGO Jurassic World (Warner Bros.)
- Mad Max (Warner Bros.)
- Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (Warner Bros.)
The titles from SEGA and Warner Bros. are being added shortly after publisher Square Enix also joined forces with NVIDIA to bring some titles to the streaming games service.
