Samsung is no stranger to producing a large number of variants of their devices, so new versions of the just released Samsung Galaxy S7 should be no surprise. As spotted by Twitter tipster Evan Blass, @evleaks, a device believed to be the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is listed in the Zauba database in India.
Blass notes in his tweet that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, which was only available in the U.S. through AT&T, had model number SM-G890A. The device that was recently spotted in the Zauba database is from Samsung and has the model number SM-G891A, leading to the conclusion that this is the Galaxy S7 Active. Besides highlighting the existence of a new version of their flagship, the Zauba listing appears to confirm the Active version of the device will match the regular Galaxy S7 in having a 5.1-inch display.
