After having an exclusive run on music streaming service Tidal, Kanye West’s new album The Life of Pablo is now available on Spotify, Play Music, and Apple Music.
This is an interesting move, considering that West earlier made comments that his new album would never be up for sale on Apple Music, let alone any other music streaming service after it was supposedly going to be available “only” on Tidal. Then again, maybe West, the self-proclaimed “greatest artist ever,” needed some more cash flow to make bigger payments on that $53 million in debt.
Kanye West also mentioned in that tweet weeks ago that it would never be up for sale, but now West is selling it for $20.
My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal.

When it comes down to it, this was probably a good move. With the lack of availability, it’s likely that torrents for The Life of Pablo album was astronomical, and making it more widely available might help cut down on that.
We haven’t heard any official word on West’s change of mind, but if you want to give his new album a listen, it’s available on almost all of your favorite music streaming services now.
