T-Mobile has started pushing out an update for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The update pushes the devices up to version PC8. The update should surface for users as a notification of an available over-the-air update, although users can manually check by heading to Settings -> About device and check for updates. The changes included appear to be security and stability improvements.
The update notification indicates T-Mobile and Samsung are providing the following changes with PC8:
- video recording stability is being improved
- overall device performance is being improved
- improvements to help battery life are included
- security is being tweaked a bit.
In addition to improvements to security, the April security patch for Android is also included to help keep the devices up-to-date.
