Thanks to a thread in the OnePlus forums, we now have confirmation that OxygenOS 2.2.1 is rolling out to OnePlus X units.
As of yesterday, OnePlus X units began receiving an update bringing OxygenOS version 2.2.1. We got the news from a OnePlus staff member who posted in the forums about the update yesterday around 12:30pm EST. The update includes several bug fixes and system improvements. Here’s a list of all that has changed:
- Fix for data leak while roaming experienced in some regions
- Fix for microphone being muted when using Google Hangouts
- Fix for app drawer not launching when google search bar is hidden
- GMS 3.0 upgrade
- APN update to support Tigo carrier
- Security patch update
- General bug fixes and optimizations
Many of you may be wondering if Marshmallow is included. And the answer is no, this will be in a separate update. OxygenOS 2.2.1 is rolling out in waves, meaning not everyone will get it right away.
