Meizu announced that its latest flagship, the Pro 6, will be available in China later this month, and it’s coming packed with some amazing specifications.
We heard many rumors and leaks surrounding the device, and after the company’s official confirmation today, many of those rumors turned out to be true, such as the 3D Press Display and Helio X25 processor.
The Pro 6 has a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 Super AMOLED display with 3D Touch support, though Meizu calls its 3D Press. The bezels are extremely thin, keeping thickness to a minimum. On the hardware side of things, we have a Helio X25 deca-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage and microSD support. The device has a 2,560mAh battery with mCharge support, allowing the device to go from 0% to full in just under an hour. As far as software goes, the Meizu Pro 6 is running Meizu’s latest version of the FlyMe OS atop of Android 6.0.
It’s got a hefty camera, too. The Pro 6 is equipped with a 21.16MP Sony IMX230 rear camera sensor with PDAF and laser autofocus. Around the front is your standard 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone will sport USB Type-C 3.1 connectivity as well.
Meizu’s Pro 6 will be available in China on April 23, available in Gold, Grey, and Silver for 2,499 Yuan (or $386 in USD) for the 32GB variant. The 64GB variant is a bit pricier at 2,799 Yuan or $433 USD.
Anyone plan on ordering a Meizu Pro 6?
