Podcasts have been something Google Play Music has lacked ever since it launched many years ago. That’s why today marks an important day in the evolution of Google Play Music.
Today, Google has officially introduced podcast support for Play Music. Starting today, on web and the Android app, users can access podcasts over a wide-range of subjects. The update is rolling out to the those in the United States and Canada first, with more regions coming in the weeks/months ahead.
Users can dive into the plethora of podcasts available right from the main menu. Just like Play Music’s randomly generated playlists that are made based on categories and time of day, podcast browsing will work in a similar way. However, you’ll also be able to search for a podcast in particular that you’re looking for using the included search functionality. Once you find what you were looking for or something of interest, you can subscribe and get notified when new additions are added. You can count on the Talk Android Podcast being there! If you prefer different ways to watch of listen to our podcast, just visit the second episode’s page right here.
Listening to your first podcast on Play Music is just a step away, visit Play Music on web to get started.
