Google today at an event in Delhi launched its Chromecast and Chromecast Audio devices in India.
There really aren’t any differences between the version available here in the US. You still have that rounded design with the built-in HDMI cable, and it still has support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5Ghz). The Chromecast will let you cast all sorts of content from mobile apps, PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, and many other devices.
The Chromecast Audio supports the same Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5Ghz) technology. The Chromecast Audio is different in that you can connect it to an auxiliary speaker and cast audio through it via Android, iOS, Windows, and other operating systems.
Both devices are priced at Rs. 3,399 and will be available from online retailers Flipkart, Snapdeal, Paytm, as well as some brick-and-mortar stores like Reliance and Croma.
Anyone plan on picking one up?
