Pre-orders for Samsung’s Galaxy Tab E are said to open May 6th on AT&T.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab E will soon be up for pre-order on AT&T’s wireless network. It’ll cost 0$ down payment, and just $10 per month thereafter plus the cost of your data allowance. The contract-free price is yet to be revealed.

As a refresher, the Galaxy Tab E sports a 8-inch display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. A conservative 1.5GB of RAM is onboard with 16GB of internal memory (not all usable). However, if you need more, just pop a microSD card into the Tab E’s built-in slot. Google’s latest OS version in that of Marshmallow is pre-loaded, so there’s no need to wait on the update after purchasing.

Buyers will get some apps from the AT&T-owned DIRECTV and get access to Samsung’s KNOX security features, which will also be preloaded. Color choices that’ll be available remain to be heard from the carrier, but we’ll find out soon.
