Samsung appears to be working on a new Galaxy Tab 4 model known as the Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced.
The 10.1-inch tablet has the standard 16 by 9 aspect ratio and recently underwent a benchmark on GFXBench. The model number of the slate is SM-T536. Thanks to the test, some specifications were uncovered, giving us a better idea on what to expect.
The Galaxy Tab 4 series released a while back aimed at the mid-range sector. Based on the benchmark, the Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced will match the 10.1-inch screen size present on the largest Galaxy Tab 4 model. It will have a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Powering it will be an octa-core processor backed with 2GB of RAM. Both a 5MP rear-facing camera and 2MP front-facing camera are included.
The model undergoing the test contained 32GB of internal memory, but don’t count out the availability of another storage option. Samsung typically offers two storage capacities with each tablet it releases. When it comes to software, Google’s Android 6.0 is installed, which should put some smiles on people’s faces.
