The Nextbit Robin is now on sale for less than its usual price on Amazon because of a company-approved promotion that runs through next Tuesday.

Nextbit’s full retail price for the Robin is $399, but Amazon is currently selling the phone for just $299. And sweetening the discount is the free two-day (or even one-day) shipping for Amazon Prime members.
Amazon lists the Robin in Launchpad, a dedicated section for “cutting edge products from startups.”
Last week, Nextbit announced a partnership with AIAIAI to release a special set of TMA-2 headphones made specifically for the Robin; however, it’s not available on Amazon. AIAIAI’s TMA-2 headphones tailored for Nextbit is sold exclusively through the company’s online store. So you can purchase the Robin from Amazon and the TMA-2 headphones from Nextbit, spending a whopping $525 altogether.
When the partnership was announced, Nextbit also rolled out additions, changes, and fixes for its first flagship. A big software update brought in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with security patches, improved performance, and an overhauled camera app.
It’s easy to view the Robin as a smart purchase. The phone has a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920×1080) LCD display with Gorilla Glass 4, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and two-tone flash. Wondering about storage? That’s where Nextbit’s expertise is. The Robin comes with 32GB of internal storage, but owners get 100GB of cloud storage to back up pictures, videos, and even apps. The software on the Robin silently archives whatever isn’t being used to free up space and then pushes content back to the phone when needed.
The sale, which is active only through Amazon, runs through May 10.
