The specifications that will allegedly be inside of the Galaxy Note 6 have leaked on Chinese social networking website Weibo. This comes not long after rumors surfaced that the Note 6 would sport a USB Type-C connector.
This latest rumor from Weibo indicates that the handset will feature a massive 5.8-inch display as well as a Snapdragon 823 processor. The processor is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 820, though it’s also likely Samsung will release a second version of the Note 6 with an in-house Exynos processor.
The Galaxy Note 6 will also allegedly feature 6GB of RAM. Supposedly we’ll see a variant with 256GB of internal storage, but at this point, that seems a bit far-fetched. Other leaks point to a 4,600mAh battery and IP68 waterproof and dustproof certification.
Finally, we could see two versions of the Galaxy Note 6: one with a regular display and the other with a dual-edge display. We haven’t had a new Galaxy Note Edge in awhile, so it would make sense for Samsung to bring another one to market, especially after the popularity of the S6 Edge+ and S7 Edge.
The Galaxy Note 6 will certainly be an interesting handset, but we do have quite awhile to wait before we see anything official. But, if any of these rumors turn out to be true, the Note 6 will be one hell of a device.
