After the sheer success of the OnePlus 2, a OnePlus 3 has been rumored for some time now. And now, we’re seeing what are allegedly images of the upcoming handset.
Photos of the alleged handset were spotted on Chinese social networking site Weibo. A case is covering the design of the OnePlus 3, so there isn’t a whole lot to see. All you can really see is your standard home button on the front, which is slightly disappointing. That said, it’s best to take these photos with a grain of salt.
Initial rumors indicate that the OnePlus 3 will feature a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. We’re also expecting to see a 16-megapixel camera around the back, an 8-megapixel unit on the front, and all of this will supposedly be powered by a mighty 3,500mAh battery.
We’re not sure when to expect the OnePlus 3, but some reports are saying that we could see it in June, which is barely a month away. Hopefully the launch of the OnePlus 3 will go much smoother than the previous flagship variant. We’re hoping that OnePlus will ditch the invite system this time around, and things will go much smoother.
We’ll have to sit back, wait, and see what happens. Are you excited for the OnePlus 3?
