Tesla certainly knows a thing or two about developing and manufacturing fast cars, but with the August unveiling of the Model S P100D, the company truly outdid themselves. When introducing the car a few months ago, Tesla CEO Elon Musk proudly boasted that Tesla's new flagship vehicle was the "fastest production car in the world." And with good reason, Tesla's speed demon can go from 0-60 in just 2.5 seconds flat in Ludicrous Mode. Additionally, the Model S P100D can go from go from 0-100 in 6.5 seconds and can complete a quarter-mile in 10.7 seconds flat.
