Back in September, during Apple's latest iPhone press event, the company announced that the iPhone 7 camera would be capable of capturing photos featuring a wide color gamut that wasn't possible on older models. Instagram's Ian Spalter also took the stage to reveal that the Instagram app would eventually receive an update to support wide color capture and display, and on Friday, the update quietly rolled out.
