Move over MWC 2017, you’re done. The Galaxy S8 cast a long shadow over this year’s mobile trade show in Barcelona, Spain, as Samsung was unable to unveil its hottest new phone at the event. The company confirmed, however, that the phone will arrive in the very near future, offering us a March 29th date for its New York-based Unpacked event.
A flurry of competing Android devices became official at MWC, many of them hoping to cash in on the Galaxy S8’s big absence. But Galaxy S8 rumors continued to drop just as other companies were unveiling their newest mobile products. The best leak came late on Tuesday when a trusted leaker shared with the world what seems to be our first look at the phone’s press render.
