A couple days ago we reported on some images of Huawei’s MediaPad X1 7-inch tablet as it made its way through the Chinese regulatory process. Huawei appears to be targeting the Nexus 7 tablet with this new device, although it is still not clear which markets will have access to the device. Ahead of MWC 2014, some more images have surfaced of the device giving us a better look.
One of the images shows the screen displaying a dialer pad and the lock screen displays a small phone icon indicating a call was made or received. This supports the suggestion that the device would come with support for phone service. As for wireless data, we still do not know know whether it will support 4G wireless, though rumors suggest that it will.
The images also show some details like button placement and what the design on the edges of the device look like in real life. One of the images also shows a cover for the MediaPad X1 with a window for access to the screen without having to flip it open, a design Samsung uses for some of its covers.
