Guest Jeff Causey Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 With less than a week to go until Samsung’s Tab Into Color event when it is expected to officially announce the Galaxy Tab S series of devices, some new images have leaked that reveal a few details about the new tablets. Of course, the big news will be the use of AMOLED displays on a tablet device and the resolution being pushed up to a quad HD level 2560 x 1600 resolution. Samsung appears to have several other new features ready to be revealed with this new line of tablet devices. One new feature appears to be the ability to link the tablet to a smartphone, and we would not be surprised to see this limited to other Samsung devices, so that calls can be answered on the tablet via a pop-up app window. Along with this new capability, the new Galaxy Tab S devices are expected to get several features that carry over from the Galaxy S 5. These include the ultra power saving mode, download booster, and a fingerprint scanner. The images that were released also show Remote PC being available on the device. Some of the images showcase the physical attributes of the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 which will come in at a very thin 6.6 mm thick and only weigh 465 grams. We have already seen images showing the back of the device to have the same dimpled cover as the Galaxy S 5. The images do show the edge of the device sporting a lightly brushed metal look. source: SamMobile Come comment on this article: New images reveal additional details about Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Visit TalkAndroid for Android news, Android guides, and much more!
