Guest Jack Holt Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 The premium version of the Galaxy S series, the Galaxy F, has made an appearance much akin to a celebrity baby sighting. Today we’re seeing a leak over at phoneArena regarding the potential premium device showing it in the outside world. The phone in question is a preproduction model of the device sporting a Snapdragon 801 although it’s said that this will change to the 805 when it reaches full production. According to the tipster, the phone is slightly smaller than the S5 and will have thinner bezels as well. It will come with the IP 67 certification meaning that it will have the same protection against dust and water as the Galaxy S 5 has. That aside, we can see that the phone has what appears to be a brushed metal backing and with the HTC One M8 and LG G3 making headway, Samsung is pushing forward on the project. The phone will sport a 5.3-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution and will have a 16MP camera with OIS. The phone is rumored to be released in September, not too coincidentally at about the same time the Apple iPhone 6 should be released and we can safely bet that as we get closer to a release date, we’ll see more leaks pop up.
