One of the many devices that consumers look forward to each year is the next device from the literally massive Galaxy Note series. Samsung has proven there is a market for devices with such large displays and has created a value with it. Last year’s Galaxy Note 3 was a huge hit and the company is unsurprisingly readying the Galaxy Note 4 for a release sometime this year. The handset will pack a the new Snapdragon 805 processor (for many markets) and launch on Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. While the display size is currently unknown, QHD resolution is expected. And the 16MP camera on the back with optical image stabilization will be supplied by Sony. As for the front camera, it is the same 2MP from the Galaxy S 5.

The other bit of news has to do with the SM-G906. With that model number, we have heard about Project KQ, Galaxy F, and Galaxy S 5 Prime. It is now confirmed that Project KQ has been scrapped. Whether or not this is the same as those other devices is not known. The SM-G906 is expected soon, though, as it will be launching in Korea with an FHD display and Snapdragon 805. The Galaxy F could wind up being the GS5′s successor, but that is an educated guess. At the very least, SamMobile claims that the model number belonging to the GS5 successor will have the same specifications as the Galaxy F.
