It was all too good to be true, wasn’t it?

OnePlus, a small start-up which planned to release its first mobile device this summer, has delayed the project, dubbed the “One,” once again.

Invites for the OnePlus One were supposed to be sent out in May, but there were software bugs that held back the device from release. It looks like there’s been another bump in the road — there are more problems with the software. The device will come running CyanogenMod, the popular Android-based operating system.

It might have been borderline ridiculous to assume that this project was going to run 100% perfectly, because after all, it is a small company creating its first device. Not only is it a first time manufacturer, but this is also the first time CyanogenMod will be shipping a device with a manufacturer. Bumps in the road were inevitable, but let’s just hope the team(s) can fix the issues, launch the OnePlus One and find success to launch a follow-up phone.
