Guest Robert Nazarian Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Most of the specs of the new Galaxy Tab S have been reported already, but if there is any questions still lingering, this should sum it up. First of all, there will be two versions, the 10.5 and 8.4 and there will be two variants of each with different processors. We are guessing it has to do with if the model has LTE or not. They will offer both an Exynos octa-core (4 x 1.9GHz and 4 x 1.3GHz) or a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon (most likely an 801). Both models will feature a 2560 x 1600 display (presumably AMOLED), 3GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage, microSD for up to an additional 128GB of storage, 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front-facing camera, WiFi or WiFi/LTE, and Android 4.4 KitKat. The 10.5-inch version will sport a 7900mAh battery, and the 8.4-incher have 4900mAh. These tabs will be pretty thin at 6.6mm thick, which makes them a lot thinner than the iPad Air’s 7.5mm. I can’t imagine there will be too many surprises tonight unless Samsung unveils new software, but I doubt it. I am expecting TouchWiz with the Magazine UX. Basically we have a higher-end version of the TabPRO. The only question is if consumers will be confused with all the tablet choices that Samsung is offering this year? source: evleaks Come comment on this article: Samsung Galaxy Tab S specs confirmed hours before event Visit TalkAndroid for Android news, Android guides, and much more!
