Guest Jeff Causey Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Reports have surfaced indicating Twitter may be in the process of either testing or rolling out a new method for displaying embedded tweets in your timeline on mobile devices, including Android powered devices. Apparently when linking to another tweet, the mobile interface will display a linked tweet in its entirety with the posters name, Twitter handle and avatar. It is unclear how Twitter would use this feature, although it would appear to eliminate the need to manually retweet items to add your thoughts. If just retweeting something with no additional comment, followers would apparently see more information about the account you are retweeting. Twitter has not commented on the tweets that have been spotted that display this functionality. It does not appear to have rolled out to many users. The users who do have it could just be the first accounts to receive the update or they could be users selected for beta testing new features. source: TheNextWeb Come comment on this article: Twitter may be changing appearance of linked tweets Visit TalkAndroid for Android news, Android guides, and much more!
