Samsung has apparently shown off the upcoming Galaxy S5 Prime in the Netherlands at an event by Dutch carrier KPN. While the device did appear at the event, Samsung did not confirm the name of the device.

An interesting thing about the device that was presented is that it includes a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, despite previous rumors that the display would be 1440 x 2560. This is strange because of the fact that many were expecting the device to challenge the QHD display on the LG G3.

The device also includes a Snapdragon 805 processor along with an Adreno 405 graphics processor. The model number of the device is SM-G901F, and it closely resembles the design of the Galaxy S5. In fact, some reports suggest that the device is indistinguishable, which isn’t in line with pictures leaked of the Galaxy F, meaning the Galaxy S5 Prime and the Galaxy F may in fact be different devices.
