Guest Justin Herrick Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 So far we have only seen very sketchy leaks involving the Moto X+1. Now, though, we have a clear pictured of the alleged upcoming Motorola flagship. The image above was posted earlier this evening and shows the handset within a rubber case. So what are some noteworthy things about this? It certainly seems that front-facing speakers will be utilized, much like HTC, since there is no cutout on this case for speakers on the rear. There are only three cutouts and two of them, not the massive camera slot, are likely for microphones. What is also interesting is the lack of transparent status/notification bars and the same goes for the navigation keys. This is typically what press renders for Google Play Edition devices look like, so is that what this is? We’ll just have to wait and see. Google may be prepping a Google Play Edition of this device and that could be what we’re looking at right now. As readers in the comments section have noted, too, this device is missing a front facing camera. Therefore, it looks identical to the Moto E.
