A few days ago, Google rolled out a feature called Cast Screen that allows users to mirror their Android device’s screen over to the place where Chromecast is connected to. The only problem is that Google limited the feature to only a handful of devices. And surprisingly, some notable devices like the HTC One (M8) are missing from the list. So it is not surprising that someone over on the XDA Developers Forum was working on a way for more devices to join the Cast Screen fun. The latest version of the Chromecast app and root access to your smartphone or tablet is required.

Hit the break to see if your smartphone is compatible with this option and hit the source link for directions.
