We have already seen hints of Material in apps like Google+, Docs, and Sheets, so it should be no surprise that Google is working on other apps to be consistent. There is no word on when this may roll out, but Google is probably targeting the new media and graphics heavy interface to be released in time for the Android L official release. In looking at the screen shots and comparing them to the current Play Store interface, it is clear Google is going to make more use of the videos, logos and screenshots submitted by developers. Along with changes to the initial view that appears when a user clicks through to an item, Google is also making changes to some of the other information to make better use of white space and typography. Some sections, like the description and “What’s New” will expand to full screen views while additional color has been added to the reviews so they better match the web version. Google also appears to be working on some changes to the Google+ integration. The current set of images is described as sparse when it comes to Google+, just showing how many +1′s there are for an item with no detail on where those came from.
